Cantina Lazzarella
One of the oldest canteens in Bixiga, Lazzarella has an affordable menu and tables in close
proximity to a small lounge. It is worth mentioning: one of the canteen’s curious attractions is
a singing rooster that hangs from the ceiling. During any hour, the waiters activate the animal’s
unrestrained singing. The main highlight of the menu is the traditional lasagna. There is also
penne with broccoli with catupiry, spaghetti with romanesque, filet mignon with a sauce of
four cheeses and hind leg of lamb with broccoli.
